My First Public Experience

We went to the park for a play date yesterday. On the way there my daughter says "I have to go potty!" "Quick...Quick!" Ahhhhh. I am driving past her old babysitter's house so I call and ask if we can make a pitstop. I haven't had a chance to scope out the park restrooms yet. Thank Goodness she was home. We took our potty break and continued on our way.

As soon as we arrived at the park my daughter again says , "I have to go potty!, Quick, Quick!" I ask my friend to watch the baby and take my daughter to the facility. Can you say YUCK! I contemplate letting her go in the woods. I stay due to the urgency of her situation.

As I constantly repeat "Don't touch anything!!!," I line the rim with about half a roll of T.P. Not for her to sit on but for my arms to rest upon as I hold her bottom hovering the toilet, hoping that I am clearing the stream's path.

She finishes and I decide that we will not wash our hands. The sink is so dirty we will be better off using wipes. I walk out wishing for the first time that she was a boy.

Hopefully that's the worst I'll experience. I doubt it though. And now I'm on a mission to find a contraption that avoids any contact of skin on toilet.

Poor Lily. Thank goodness you could call and see if Betsy was home.
