The Week Behind...

With the new found strut of C-man and summer approaching fast, I find myself with no time for my precious blog everyday. In order to get my fix I’m changing it up a little. I’m going to post moments from the previous week every Monday. I hope you enjoy! Please leave comments.

So my week started wonderfully. I discovered that my gym membership is paying off. I am down a pant size. That’s right sucka’s. Are skinny jeans still in and can I wear them in summer?

Work…Work…Work in the middle.

We signed up for Verizon FIOS so please note that my e-mail address will be changing soon. I’ll keep you all posted.

Wednesday brought a swimming lesson that I truly thought was not going to happen. After a complete, ear piercing and totally embarrassing temper tantrum in the gym’s parking lot, LF as quickly as she let out her roar changed her mind and dove in the pool. Huh. I hope the same transpires on this Wednesday minus the hysterics.

Tonight, as I prepared lunches for tomorrow I was trying to recall how my week came and went in such a flash, C-man fell and got a bloody nose. Perfect ending right? As the crying concluded and the dramatic thoughts of travesty flitted from my head, I had to step back and give thanks for my family. Even though every day as the evening turns to night, Hub and I count down the minutes until bedtime, I cherish bedtime the most. Not because the hectic day is done, but because it's story time. I love our nighttime routine. I love that LF still makes me read Owl Babies and needs her "Bips on" (Chap Stick to the layman). And that she still asks for a kiss and a hug and tells me goodnight and I love you and wishes sweet dreams. I get to share that with her. Amazing!!

Books of the week: There is a Monster at the End of this Book and The Gum Chewing Rattler .

Quote of the Week: "Nothing good will come of this." As in C-man if you try to crawl with the basketball in your hands you will fall. If you run and fall into the Dora couch you will tumble over. If you remove the protective pillows from the bricks on the fireplace it will surely result in bruises.

Moment of my Week: Hub with tears in his eyes while watching Marley and Me. Considering he did not cry on our Wedding Day, he did have a tear when LF was born, while C-man’s arrival remained waterless, I thought it fitting that he would cry over a dog that was not even his. Right?

Enjoy your week!!

Ha--my husband cried on our wedding day...does that mean he loves me more or does that mean he was scared?
