Just For the Record...

I WILL NOT AND DO NOT REMOVE EARRINGS. Earring holes are dirty and disgusting. If you come to your MRI appointment and need to remove your earrings for your test, but then can not because they have been in your ears for so long a crust has formed...YOU ARE SOL. I am not even going there if I double glove.

On a side note: I also will not and do not massage/rub muscle spasms. The only people that I touch that way are my hub and my children. If I ignore your request to massage/rub an area of your dirty body, it is not because I didn't hear you. I ignored you because it is my job to be polite and I have a hard time saying no. But when you look at my face upon the second request to massage/rub a spasm...you will then realize, it was not my deaf ear that disregarded your inquiry. It was my disgust. You will have to rub your own spasm or writhe in pain.

I would never in a million years expect a tech to either A> remove body jewelry or B> give me massages...

That's SO not anywhere near your job description.

I second that motion. I have also used my DEAF ear in too many situations like this!!! Do you have the people that take the dirty, sometimes bloody, earplugs out of their hairy ears and try to hand them directly to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I LOVE MY JOB!!!
